Vintage Museum Reproduction Greek Horse Pin/Brooch

This Vintage Museum Reproductions Greek Horse replica lapel-pin/brooch is of a very rare, stylized horse with inarticulate lags, very simple platforms and small, incised circles.  It was originally found at Olympia, national shrine of the ancient Greeks.

It has the feeling and general style of the geometric bronzes commonly attributed to Thessaly in northern Greece.
